Taipei Civil Square
the City Government of Taipei and Panasonic Mobile, brought forth an array
of international and Asian stars that set the Taipei Civil Square alight.
Hosted by MTV VJs George Chang, Andy Chen and Katherine Wang, the biggest music event this summer in Taipei boasted more than 15 spectacular performances lasting over three hours and attended by more than 60,000 spectators.
Japanese Hip Hop queen AI was next in line to mesmerize the excited crowd with her dynamic dance-beat songs including "E.O.," "Watch Out!" and "Silly of Me." AI’s superb dance choreography and sexy grooves fired up the audiences and set them dancing along with her. A familiar face in Taipei since his last visit to the city, Japanese pop idol Naohito Fujiki took center stage at the concert, treating fans with a spectacular performance. The crowd also saw to performances by Japan’s Hitoto Yo and Korean pop idol Rain, who sang five songs each, bringing forth ear-piercing wolf whistles from the high-spirited audience.
